• Divorce and Separation

  We can advise you on the implications of dealing with matters by way of divorce or deed of separation. We will discuss the options with you in order to conclude matters as quickly and as amicably as possible.
  

• Financial Settlements

  We will attempt to resolve financial disputes amicably. However, if you feel that court proceedings will be necessary in order to achieve the best outcome for you, we will discuss the options with you. Sometimes it is necessary to use the Court’s procedure if the other party is not co-operating or it is not possible to reach an amicable agreement.

• Children Matters

  We always encourage parents to reach an agreement as to the arrangement for their children themselves. However, where this is not possible we can advise on the best options available to you. Sometimes it is necessary to apply for a Residence Order (formerly called custody) to confirm where a child will live. Sometimes it is necessary to apply for a Contact Order (formerly called access) to determine how much contact the child has with the other parent.

• Domestic Violence

  Where you are having difficulties with a violent or abusive partner or you are being harassed by them, we are available to make emergency applications to the Court on order to protect you from further incidents of violence or harassment.
