Sian Jenkins

Partner - Family Law

Sian joined Steed & Steed in 2015 and was admitted to the partnership in May 2017. She is a solicitor in the firm’s Family Law Department.

Sian decided early on during her career that she wanted to specialise in Children Law. She finds it rewarding to work closely with her clients and to help make a difference in their lives. She adopts a very hands-on approach accompanying her clients throughout the whole procedure from the first meeting to representing them in court.

Sian’s practice incorporates all areas of Children Law. She regularly acts on behalf of parents and other family members in Care Proceedings issued by local authorities. She also represents children both through guardians, and directly if they are deemed to be competent, ensuring that their voice is heard throughout the proceedings.

In addition, Sian represents Grandparents and other parties in private law disputes in respect of children.

Sian is an accredited member of the Law Society Children Panel which demonstrates her experience and commitment in the field of Children Law.

Sian offers a free 30 minute consultation to family law clients where they can discuss their individual matter with her. Based on the discussion, Sian will be able to provide them with initial advice outlining some of the options that may be available to them.

Sian supervises assistant lawyers in the firm.
